Your Question?
I am stuck on this question ''Describe three different situations in which an educator could encourage a child to make decisions for themselves. For each situation, describe the process you would follow to support the child in making the decision. '' I have some ideas in my head but was after some help please.

I think you are on the right track - you just need to flesh out your answers more...eg: Jimmy wanted to use the doll that Sue was playing with. I asked him what he thought would be a good idea. I know says Jimmy I will ask her if I can have the doll when she is finished playing with it.
or Jimmy was upset because he had no room to finish his train track building - we could encourage Jimmy to think about the best way to finish his track without bumping into the cupboard. Jimmy could say I know I will build more of the track over this side away from the cupboard.
Choice - Jimmy is unsure of whether he wants to play in the home corner or read a book. We could encourage him to think about which one he would like to do first and then he could swap over to the other activity later.
