Effective sleep and meal routine are an important factor in ensuring a child feels secure and safe and belonged in a childcare environment. At the centre families are consulted about their child's individual needs and as well as to get an awareness of their culture, religion and parenting beliefs. During Meal time routine children are proivided with cultural appropriate meals in a cultural appropriate atmosphere. Parents request about sleep pattern are also adhered if a family's belief and practice is in conflict with the safe rest and sleeping practices while in the care of the centre they will not be varied unless the centre is provided with a written advise from a medical practise.
