CHCECE026 WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE EDUCATION AND CARE FOR CHILDREN
Q. During sleep and meal routines, observe and state the cultural practices of some families at the centre ( your preferred age group) and state the importance of peoples belief and practices. (What are some practices you would vary at these times which are varied according to the preferences of family members?)
Need help please with this question not sure if I am on the right track my answer so far.
Effective sleep and meal routine are an important factor in ensuring a child feels secure and safe and belonged in a childcare environment. At the centre families are consulted about their child's individual needs and as well as to get an awareness of their culture, religion and parenting beliefs. During Meal time routine children are proivided with cultural appropriate meals in a cultural appropriate atmosphere. Parents request about sleep pattern are also adhered if a family's belief and practice is in conflict with the safe rest and sleeping practices while in the care of the centre they will not be varied unless the centre is provided with a written advise from a medical practise.
