struggling with the following question from CHCECE024

Question 5b
Provide the four factors, based on the EYLF, that educators may make decisions about the curriculum content.

Question 6a
Explain the following three terms: Assessment for learning, Assessment as Learning and Assessment of learning

Question 6c
To determine what assessment for learning might look like in an early childhood setting, what is it essential to first determine?

Question 7b
The most logical tool for the ongoing evaluation of children’s programs would be to use the principles and descriptors from the NQS. Refer to the principles and descriptors of Element 5.1.3 Each child is supported to feel secure, confident and included to develop two questions that will support the evaluation of the curriculum. Also, provide one example of evidence that could be used to answer the questions.

some help would be much appreciated

How does the curriculum reflect the lives of the children, their families and the local community?
Families are asked for input into the program through questionnaires, verbal discussion.
Project walls following on from local events in the community e.g. Local show.
Family trees with children’s self-portraits.
Local community engagement such as visits to the library, local shops are part of the curriculum and goals.

That's a good response!

Asking families about what they did on the weekend, where they went on holidays and extending on that through different activities on the program.
Including special family events (such as the birth of a new baby) as part of the program.
Celebrating family traditions and cultural days etc.

Hope this helps!
