I am just completely lost on this question. Can someone please help me!? I am required to present an actual schedule, as well as answer the questions. I have no idea on how it should be set out, time frames for gathering evidence etc. Any help is much appreciated!

CHCECE023 - Analyse Information to Inform Learning
Devise your own schedule showing how you would plan to gather evidence on a group of eight focus children against Framework Outcomes. How long would it take you to gather a range of evidence during both planned and spontaneous experiences; analyse and summarise the evidence; and gain insight into possible planning experiences for each child?

So, a schedule could maybe be a timetable or a calendar. You have 8 children that you could probably observe in a week depending on the days they come.
Week 1:

Observations

Mon - Child 1 & Child 2
Tue - Child 3 & Child 4
Wed - Child 5 & Child 6
Thurs - Child 7
Fri - Child 8

The schedule above will be the days you do your observations for each child. However, also throughout the week you need to continuing observing those eight children throughout the day at different times. It doesn't have to be on the child's day but if you notice a skill or an important milestone or specific outcome being achieved from a child than you need to gather that information as well.

For example:

On Monday you're observing Child 1 but then you notice on Wed that Child 1 was doing something else that was significant in their learning then you can do another observation detailing this as well. - Hope this makes sense!

Usually once you gather the observations then you can analyse the information through the evidence then start planning for the follow up experience.

If you can do the follow up activity within a day or two that you observe the child so they can continue on to try and achieve what you want them to achieve. This will be ideal! However, it not always possible so you can do it the following week.

Example:

Week 2

Follow Up:

Mon - Child 1 & Child 2
Tue - Child 3 & Child 4
Wed - Child 5 & Child 6
Thurs - Child 7
Fri - Child 8

So to answer the question it will probably take 1 week to gather the evidence from all the children and another week to conduct the follow up experiences.

Hope this helps,
