how can you promote positive behaviour

Behaviour Management
how can we gather information from children about their likes and dislikes
how can we consult children and what methods can we use

What can you do with the children to find out their likes and dislikes? Ask them, have a group discussion and tally the results, show of hands, write responses on a chart, get them to do a survey where they circle what they prefer etc.

With Scenario 2:

How can you document children's ideas? Help them draw a layout or a plan, write everybody's ideas down and discuss which ones are suitable to implement, asking open ended questions to get them thinking outside the box etc. What can you provide to help the children with the design? What safety considerations do the children need to be aware of?

Hope this helps,
