Krishna is new to your service and you have noted on her enrollment form that Krishna has epilepsy. You are required to communicate with her primary caregivers on how you can manage and support her health needs.

i) What questions will you ask the family about the Krishna’s epilepsy and specific health care needs?
Provide at least 3 questions.

• How often do Krishna's seizures occur?
• Is there any waring before she is about to have a seizure?
• What do Krishna's seizures typically involve?

ii) What other information would you share with the family?
List 2 things.

But i have no clue what information I could share with the family??

You can also include for Qs to ask parents:

How severe is Krishna's epilepsy
How much extra attention does she require, what does she need assistance with
Are there any medications that Krishna is currently taking

Information to share with family:

A Plan of Action will be put in place in case a seizure occurs which will detail how to manage the seizure, when to call the parents and the ambulance
How will provide a structured environment to support Krishna in her learning and development
