1. For each of the following activities, document when and how you implemented the activity.
1. Ensured sleep and rest meets standards and individual needs, including light, noise, temperature and ventilation.
2. Supervised children who are resting or sleeping.
3. Provided quiet activities.
4. Used more than one supervision method at the same time.
5. Provided privacy for children when toileting, undressing and dressing.
6. Supported children to learn personal hygiene practices.
7. Encouraged children to care for their teeth.
8. Discussed health issues with children.
9. Helped to ensure all adults on the premises are supervised.
10. Discussed and implemented sun-safety with children including appropriate clothing.
11. Exchanged information about supervision with your colleague to ensure adequate supervision

I used both indirect and direct methods of supervision while supervising and participating with children at play in the home corner. I referred to organisational policies and procedures that outline supervision requirements.
