reflect on your your knowledge and aboriginal and torres strait culture by answerning the following questions:
(a) what aspect did you research (please circle)
history
land and water
family and community
value and beliefs
(b)what did you learn about your chosen aspect of aboriginal and torres strait islander culture?
(c)how does the information that you learnt link to the early years learning framework?
(d)what are some other ways that you could gain more information about aboriginal and torres strait islander culture?
(e)what are some ways(e.g: experiences/activities and strategies)that you can help develop children`s awareness of aboriginal and torres strait islander culture?
(f) list some of the aboriginal and torres strait resources that are available for use with children.
(g)how can educators that we are respectful of aboriginal and torres strait islander culture,when sharing this culture with children?(e.g:females are not allowed to play the dideridoo).
