CHCCS400C - Scenario: Giving Only Juice To A Toddler

What is your role in this situation
A parent tells you not to give her 13 month old baby any milk only juice. A co-worker gives the child milk. The co-worker also says the mother is cruel and not to mention it
My answer was
My role in this situation is to make sure the child is looked after and respect the mother’s wishes and not to give milk to the child only juice. Once I realised that the co-worker had given the child milk explain the reasoning behind it. Also suggest to the co-worker that they should not be nasty with such comments.
Comments relating to this from lecturer was "Is this the educator decision to make" and "what would you do before pickup" and also asking for the reference to the juice. Please tell me what are they asking I have no idea.
