Choose one procedure of your service that relates to your role, such as nappy-changing or food-handling, then complete these tasks:

I choose nappy changing procedure.

a) What tasks in the procedure relate to work health and safety?
My answer: Hand-wash and direct supervision.

b) What tasks do you have direct responsibility for?
My answer: I do not understand the question. When I change nappies for the children in my care, I am responsible for everything from washing hands, removing their clothes, wiping their bottom to washing hands again. Do I have to list down all the steps of the nappy changing procedure. I am not so sure about this.

c) What work health and safety tasks are specified in your position description?
My answer: The health, safety and protective care section of my position description mentions:

To ensure the environment in which the children learn and play is clean hygienic and safe.

To follow the Centre Policy regarding personal health and hygiene practices.

d) Give example of when you have followed a procedure to complete a work health and safety task.
My answer: I do not understand what they are asking. Nappy changing procedure will be applied when the children in my care have wet or boo nappies. How can i give example?

Please help me qith question b, c, d. Thanks a lot.
