CHCCS400C/CHCECE009: Section 3 - Assessment
I have 2 question thanx
How can you ensure the service is available to all clients regardless of personal values, beliefs, attitudes and culture?
How would you support the client to identify and express their concerns and at what stage would you refer them to an Advocacy Service in child can anyone help I wrote this I got it back and they are saying its wrong
I would support the client by having a check list so I don’t forget important things in my check list I would have
The client has given written permission for you to act on their behalf
• I would inform them that I am are acting as the client’s advocate;
• I always act in the best interests of the client;
• The client is aware of any issues and developments in relation to services they receive and which you, as their advocate, may be involved in.
• I keep the client informed of any developments in relation to the issues/s where you are representing their interests, and that any decisions will be made by the client.
• I encourage the client to provide feedback about the services they are receiving.
• I advise the service about any changes in client circumstances and any concerns about changing client needs.
• I am prepared to relinquish the role of advocate should the client wish this.
• I would avoid representing them in circumstances where there may be a conflict of interest.
• I do not act as an interpreter for the client while acting in an advocacy role.
She said"In a childcare can you please answer how and when you would be an advocate for someone and then how you would support them and when it would be needed to use an advocate service, this information is good but needs to be in terms and relation to childcare"
