3. During the QIAS validators’ recent visit to the service, he expressed disappointment in the very poor participation rates from parents at the centre. It is rare for the centre to get
feedback from parents about the program and daily activities. While the survey reports
showed the parents are happy with the quality of care there is little or no interaction.
How could you improve this interaction ANSWERED THIS x
How could you get more feedback on programming? ANSWERED THIS x
How can you have more structured discussions about children’s needs and progress? *** does anyone know if this is refering to the QIAS validators report or does this refer just to the centre ?

I think the question is referring to your centre and how you will incorporate parent participation by discussion children's needs and progress. This can include:

- parent teacher interviews
- parent information evenings
- half yearly and yearly reports
- parent surveys
- parent information sheets on their child's interests and needs etc.

Hope this helps,
