Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCECE017 – Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in early childhood
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Albert Bandura is a psychologist believed “by observing the actions of others, including parents and peers, children develop new skills and acquire new information.

5. What social skills could children observe from watching parents and peers and how might this influence their social development?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
Children can observe many various skills from observing parents and peers. These could include,
Manners when talking or eating
Respect for ourselves and others and property
Sharing belongings of yours and others
Listening without interrupting
Praising others when they have done well

This list is just some of the social skills they might observe

Observing these skills would influence a child to do what is expected from them when they are in a social situation. All of the skills mentioned are skills that will earn respect from others and will be reciprocated back to the child.

Description and Message:
So, this is my answer so far. Just not sure I am on the right track or not?

Thanks in advance for any help!
