hi I am new to this so I'm kind of hoping I can get some suggestions and support with this final question of this assessment I've been researching all morning! I need to introduce the process of acknowledgement to country within an early childhood setting? what would I discuss with the children and heir families and the community? how would I enact the acknowledgement?
so I have com up with a few things but I'm not sure if I'm on the right track, "Goodstart early learning acknowledges aboriginal and Torres strait islander people as a traditional custodians of all the lands on which we come together. we recognise aboriginal and Torres strait islander cultures enduring, living cultures and pay our respects to elders, past and present." I'm not sure if I would be able to but I would find the correct protocols within my community to perform or enact a tree planting ceremony to acknowledge a significant date on the indigenous calendar. has anyone got any further recommendations on how they think I'm going with this question?
kind regards kylie

Yes, you have the "Acknowledgement Of Country" but you haven't really addressed how you will introduce it.

This may help:
