As an educator I would never ever ever lay a hand on someone's child...

As a parent I hope my children's behaviour doesn't get so out of control that it comes to that... I believe in figuring out a reasonable
Solution and that there is always a reason for a child's misbehaviour... once you find the trigger you can tackle the behaviour... I have a 7 year old and a 1 year old and there has been no need to spank.. there are alternatives...

In saying this... when I grew up I was hit when I misbehaved... I turned out fine and i knew not to misbehave with my parents or break the rules or I would face the consequences.. I learnt quick smart and my behaviour was impeccable as a child! 😁

I think it's okay, for my child. but I would never hurt someone else's. Spanking is somehow okay as long as it will just teach them to be disciplined. I don't do this to my kids. But I won't hestate to do so when they get out of control. But, generally speaking, I think that kids who are out of control sometimes need to be taught a lesson. I don't think that it may be considered as child abuse. they just need to learn their lesson. Me too, I was also spanked when I was a kid but never did I hold grudges for my parents.
