Sessional kinder ECT salary?

Hello everyone,

I am currently working as an ECT in long day care setting and always wanted to try working in sessional kindergarten. However, if I get to work in sessional kinder I will be only working around 22.5 hours weekly. Do sessional kinder teachers get paid hourly? or do they have salary package as an annual pay rate?

If they get paid 22.5xhourly rate, will it be okay to get a second job to make extra income?

From what I understand they get paid as an hourly pay rate but then again it depends on the individual service.

In regards to getting a second job, you can but you may be taxed higher since you will be earning two incomes.
