Pay Rates

Hi,
I am new here and this is my first post, so thank you for taking the time to read this.
I just wanted to confirm the appropriate level of pay for someone 'actively working toward' an ACECQA approved ECT degree.
I believe that I should be considered Certificate III for having started the course but not being 30% of the way through yet, but I am currently being paid at level 1.1.
If someone could please let me know if this sounds correct or not, that would be really helpful. It doesn't seem to make sense that I should be completing CIII level tasks, and then diploma level tasks after 30% of the course, but be paid as level 1.1. I think that there may have been an oversight.
