My pay rate right?

I got my cert 3 in 2015 and then completed my diploma in 2019, I am a room assistant, the diversity leader and one of the certified supervisors I have also worked at the same centre for over 5 years.. my pay is $26.66 is this correct? I feel I am being under paid and used .

As a diploma qualified room assistant, you are on Level 3.4 of the Children's Services Award and yes your pay rate is correct at $26.66/per hour.
As a Diploma assistant, your level stays at 3.4 until you become a room leader or get a higher position.
You can try and negotiate your pay rate since you have been at the centre for 5 years, however you are getting paid correctly.

I’m a cert3 educator and getting paid 24 an hour is that correct

You will be on Level 3.1 at the current pay rate is $23.67/per hour (full time).

Hi,
As you have good experience in this filed, and for your Level 3.1, the expected pay rate is similar to you. So whatever your getting now is the perfect one. No need to worry about that.

Hi,
I'm diploma qualified (4 years)and room leader in Kinder room.
Recently our Kinder teacher left and I have been given the educational leader role at our center, I'm not sure about the pay rate, does it change?

Hi Patrice,
As a Diploma Educational Leader, unfortunately, there is no requirement to receive a pay rise. Only ECTs receive an Educational Leader allowance.
