Setting learning goals

I am currently looking for some information on setting learning/developmental goals for the children in my workplace.
I can find lots of information on general goal setting but cannot seem to find anything more narrow on goal setting for growth in babies and toddlers.
Does anyone know where I may find some information on this?

I need to up skill some of the staff in this area and I want to provide them with information from a source other than myself.

Thanks :-)

You can use the sub - sub outcomes from the EYLF. These will help you to write goals based on each of the sub outcomes of the EYLF. It breaks down the sub outcome in more details, which a child can specifically meet and it's easier to refer to as well:

How Children Achieve Outcomes

Hope this helps,

Following may be your goals:

Goal 1: To strive to be the best infant teachers we can be.
Goal 2: To ensure the safety of all of our children during all routines and activities and to be alert and attentive at all times. We constantly make certain that the outside play area as well as the indoor space is safe and secure and that we provide a healthy environment.
Goal 3: To provide a safe, healthy, and attractive environment for the children. We will do this by arranging the classroom in a way to stimulate their learning skills.
Goal 4: To provide physical activities that support large and small muscle development.
Goal 5: To provide age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and use of the five senses.
Goal 6: To support social and emotional development through positive guidance and interactions.
Goal 7: To develop caring and sharing partnerships with all parents. Communication is provided through newsletters, daily report forms, daily conversations, and parent-teacher conferences.
Goal 8: To continue to grow as professionals and to be a positive role model.
Goal 9: To interact with rather than react to the infants in our care.
