Running A New Room

Hi everyone.
I'm about to run a room from complete scratch and I'm wondering if anyone can give me ideas on what to do first. I'm talking in terns of making name tags and daily info sheets. I'm so overwhelmed with excitement that I'm losing my head a little haha.

- Name cards with children's photos
- Observation calender - to know who you will be observing each day
- Curriculum Plan format
- Daily diary format
- Birthday chart
- Weekly Menu (if your're providing food)
- Welcome letter to parents (about yourself)
- Parent input form (so you can gain information on the child to add to your program)
- Start portfolios (if you are doing them)
- Parent communication book, that can be placed next to the sign in/sing out sheets - you have to remember to check and sign once you read them
- Art folders for each child (to collect their art to take home)
- Set up your own area with a desk (if possible) where you can do paperwork etc. if necessary
- Set up the indoor environment
- Create a daily routine
- Room cleaning roster
- Toy cleaning register
