Identify 2 safe housekeeping routines that are used in education and care services and explain the two procedure for each.if relevant,provide details on the use of personal protective equipment,safe handling of chemicals and other safety equipment.
My answer:
1 Cleaning the floor once during the day.
-wear the gloves and aprons
-wipe the floors using warm water and detergent to remove visible dirt
-after,dispose the gloves
-Buckets or used equipment should be cleaned used warm water and detergent
Return the cleaning equipment in storage to avoid contamination.
2: Remove obstacles from walkways such as toys and equipments.
-put on gloves,
_pick up all the toys off the ground.
_wash them and disinfect if need be
_ put them on their proper places/storage
_Equipments such as cables should put in their cables management box/storage.
_ where cables are immovable, highlight them e.g.yellow paint on edges .
_dispose gloves after use and wash hands with warm water and soap.
