I work in a combined 3 and 4 yr old group in Australia. I have many in my class of 11 with additional needs. I'm trying to introduce more group time in my room to teach sharing and improve their ability to listen to instructions.

Could I get advice on how you organise your day and what you do at particular times throughout the days. Particularly what kind of group times you do and at what times.

E.g. 9:00- 9:30 group time covering the days of the week and reading a storu
9:30 - 9:45 eat morning tea

Hi!
Some info & resources you might find helpful:

An article on the importance of routines

And another on group time in childcare

Template for chilcare routine

If you have a Google you can find the routines of childcare providers around the country to give you an idea of what you can try to implement yourself:

Good luck :)
