Most definitely!

Is there a management committee??
if not
DOCs/Human services
Workplace relations
http://www.acecqa.gov.au/

I'm sure the others might have suggestions too.

Hi Elli,

My goodness your job sounds like a nightmare and the owner needs to be reprimanded that's for sure! How do centres like these continue to run... I have no idea? I guess DOCS hasn't paid the centre a visit for a spot check... Do you know what you should do.. You should make an anonymous call to DOCS and complain about the centre. Then hopefully someone from DOCS will came out for a spot check (a friend of mine did it to a centre once). If the owner is at fault and things aren't done according to regulations etc then they will have to fix it before DOCS closes the centre down (which they can do). I'm so sorry that you're going through this... It really sucks!
You shouldn't have to work in an environment like this and children shouldn't have to be exposed to such low standards of care...

Let me know how you go,

Cheers :geek:,

Hi L.A

Thanks for your reply . I reported her last night and hope they will do something about it. Someone came in for a spotcheck last year and we passed , which is a joke .

She acts all sweet when others are around but she is just nasty . I am just worried that nothing will be done and she will continue doing this . No one speaks up about it , and some have been there for ten years .

I want to leave as soon as my traineeship is up in May but worried that I will find another nasty centre again . I just want to work somewhere where the staff and director are nice .

x
