Writing Cover Letter

Hi guys,

I need some help in writing my cover letter. I actually had written something but not sure I am in the right way. Below is what I have written

I am writing to apply for the position of assistant educator. I believe this to be an exciting yet demanding opportunity that is an outstanding match for my education, abilities and career interests. With exceptional childcare potential, I would like to contribute to XYZ Early Learning Centre’s continuing success.
I have enclosed my CV to support my application. It shows that I would bring wide range of childcare skills and knowledge to the position, including:
• Highly skilled in supervising as well as monitoring the safety of children.
• Knowledge of keeping records of children’s progress, routines, and interest.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and adapt new skills to a variety of work situations.
• Demonstrated ability to help children keep good hygiene.

I had completed my diploma course at Charlton Brown and the First Aid certificate that I am currently holding issued by the same organisation. I had taken my practical placement in Goodstart Early Learning for 360 hours. During my practical placement, it gave me the opportunity to learn, use and include the NQS and EYLF into the planning and observation. ( I want to write that I have good knowledge of EYLF but not sure what to say. Need some help in this part)

Thank you in advance.
