The centre i work at wear flats, i thought it was meant to be runners?
Does anyone else have to wear flats? I perform better in runners.
It sucks

Feet kill me within a hr of wearing flats.

Surely you can wear runners if you prefer!!

I always wore runners and during winter I wore boots... As long as the shoes we wore were enclosed (except heels of course) my director didn't mind...

thanks guys! unfortunately not allowed to wear anything but flats. but since i am not standing all day it doesnt hurt.

You can get an insert to raise the arches in the shoes usually from a good shoe shop or foot therapist shop.

Due to safety reasons, you should not be wearing flats unless they are enclosed. Runners are a good example as most of the children will wear them. When I went to work placement last year, everyone had either runners or enclosed leather shoes.

At my centre educators are allowed to wear sandals, I was shocked!
