Recognized qualification after Diploma but before Bachelor

Hi everyone,

Was wondering if there was a recognized qualification that I could do?

I finished my Diploma a few years ago, but am not ready to do the Bachelor. It would be three years, full-time to become a fourth-year trained ECT (Early Childhood Teacher) and I am not ready to study to become a ECT - yet.

Is there any in-between but recognized qualification I could do?

I am looking at qualifications relating to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), or working with children, although I prefer ECEC over other age groups. I was doing another Undergraduate Certificate, but I had to opt out as it was a repeat of my Diploma studies. From my research, the next step would be do to the Bachelor, but it seems only doing the Bachelor is recognized. There used to be Advanced Diplomas and other Diplomas, majoring in Early Childhood Education specialisations, but these are no longer valid and are no longer an option to be studied.

When I mean recognized, I mean recognized by employers and other universities for credit/RPL (recognition of prior learning).

If you have any ideas or suggestions, I would appreciate it! :D

Many thanks

Hi!

The only qualification that would probably be beneficial is the ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF COMMUNITY SECTOR MANAGEMENT - previously the Advanced Diploma. This is useful if you're wanting to do a management role within a service. Even if you decide to do this, regarding wages it's only beneficial once you're in a management position. If you're a room leader, or an assistant for example, even with this qualification it won't be useful.

Here is some more information: Advance Diploma Course
