Take your regulations and law books, you really need to be confident in recognising which law is being contravened in the scenario,
The department has created several different versions of the test so everyone in the room will have a different scenario and different multiple-choice questions. The test is created to make sure the right people are governing services.
you can mark your books in any way to help you during the exam, If you study well, you may find you will not need the books at all, I only used the books once, I memorised everything else and got 100 %, it is really not that hard.
There are some childcare consultants that do preparation sessions, it will help.
Can you please advise which Childcare consultants help with preparation?

Hey all - if you've been through provider approval a lot of people are asking for the questions - maybe we can get a list of questions going that can help out others going through the process - you can also contact me directly if you want to send the questions through to me...

Where are you located? Thank heard Vic isn’t processing any approval requests currently. This is weird because other states seem to be progressing online and service approvals are being processed as well.
Can you please advise which Childcare consultants help with preparation?

Hi Lorina
I have posted up a few things already on this forum and it looks like they have yet to be approved? I am
Unsure why? I paid lifetime subscription before the end of the financial year as it was discounted and honesty not happy with the service. What’s the point of paying, if I can’t even have my posts approved and put up? They were not inappropriate nor were they selling Ads!

Hi!
I do apologise for the oversight! I have now approved your posts. I want to assure you that posts are typically approved within 24 hrs and as a Premium Subscriber your posts are approved quickly. It was a mistake on my part for not noticing your posts. I do apologise.

Hi Vankaur,
Childcare service provider/approval consultancy is expensive.
When you enter the ECEC industry services you can select from such as training, professional development, external auditing etc are equally if not more expensive.
It's a dear service for a reason, a lot of information is provided which allows individuals to better prepare for the test.
As mentioned above by people who have successfully passed the Government is looking for suitable candidates with a thorough knowledge - there is no "cheat sheet". You must research, study and know the National law, regulations and required standards for yourself - you have access to this, there's no point if someone tells you what questions they got tested on beforehand as its different for everyone to ensure you know what you are doing.
I've posted links to consultants previously these are some more options I've found:
https://www.childcarebydesign.com.au/se ... opment.php
https://firstyears.com.au/early-childho ... australia/
https://inspiredec.com/new-services/
https://jpsadvisers.com.au/product/appr ... ne-course/
Good luck!

HOW TO OPEN A NEW SERVICE
You will find everything required from ACECQA The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority
This includes all resources, information, National Standards, regulations, learning frameworks and more.
You will also find the details of the regulatory authority in your state or territory which will be dealing with your applications plus a step by step guide on the process including contact information should you require any assistance or clarification
https://www.acecqa.gov.au/resources/ope ... ew-service
Those in Victoria should be aware that the entire state is now under lockdown with either stage 3 or 4 restrictions in place and as such its possible the state government has suspended provider/service approvals or is yet formalise online alternatives as other states and territories may have done.
The situation in Victoria is unlike any where else in the country. The Department of Education and Training oversees all levels of the education sector including ECEC, school and tertiary - if you have any questions get in contact with them and they will reply

We need to ask the questions in the role play sort of thing considering the cultural difference. I am unable to get the questions.
