Writing An Observation For A Baby

Can anyone help me at giving me an answer for example if you observe a baby who hasn't got communication skills yet how can you write out an observation about a baby for instance a jotting, anecdote, running record and a learning story.

When writing observations you are basically recording all the details that you see.... With a baby even though they may not "talk", you are still able to write down what they are doing during the observation period. Babbling, crawling, reaching for toys, waving their hands etc. these are just some of the gestures a baby will do.
