Hey having trouble answering this question in my Assignment.
The regulations detail staffing requirements for the care and education of children in centre-based services. What are the six requirements?
Ive just started my training and this question has really made me stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

The national regulations outline several key staffing requirements for centre-based services to ensure the care and education of children. Here are the six main requirements:
1. **Responsible Person**: A responsible person must be present at all times when the service is operating. This can be the approved provider, a nominated supervisor, or a person in day-to-day charge of the service¹.
2. **Educator Qualifications**: At least 50% of educators must hold or be actively working towards an approved diploma level qualification or higher. All other educators must hold or be working towards at least an approved certificate III level qualification².
3. **Educator to Child Ratios**: Services must maintain minimum educator to child ratios. For example, the ratio for children aged birth to 24 months is 1 educator to 4 children, and for children aged over 24 months to less than 36 months, it is 1 educator to 5 children³.
4. **Educational Leader**: An appropriately qualified and experienced educational leader must be appointed to lead the development and implementation of the educational program¹.
5. **First Aid and Emergency Training**: Educators must have current training in first aid, anaphylaxis management, and emergency asthma management¹.
6. **Child Protection Training**: Educators must have training in child protection to ensure they can identify and respond to children at risk of harm¹.
These requirements help ensure that children receive high-quality care and education in a safe and supportive environment.
