Im having abit of trouble understanding what the difference is between the VEYLDF and the EYLF. I understand that the EYLF is birth to 5 years and the VEYLDF is birth to 8 years and in particular the focus on the respect and recognizing aboriginal cultures and their heritage. And the EYLF is more about the practices and principles and the 5 learning outcomes. Is that good enough?

The VEYLDF identifies five Learning and Development Outcomes for all children from birth to eight years. The five Outcomes provide a common language to support collaborative approaches between early childhood professionals and families and it is implemented in Victoria.
