Scenario: Jeremy - Spilling Water & Simon - Blocks Fall

Q- List all the things that children might learn from the following scenarios

1- Jeremy spills his cup of water all over the floor as he walks around the play room and is knocked by one of the other children

1- they remember what didn't work
2-they want to be better next time
3-they need to utilize their ability to clean it up

Q- Simons block tower collapses as he puts a big block on the top

1-if the base of the building is narrow the structure will likely fall
2-Through block play children learn about sizes, shapes, numbers, order, area, length and weight
3-Forces children to predict cause and affect relationships
4-Involves solving problems related to construction
5-Involves classifying and sorting objects by size

He should sit down and drink the water
He shouldn't walk while holding a cup of water
He should walk slowly while inside
