Scenario
Everyday Interests
Jeff, the Educator, was aware that a number of the preschool children in his group were fascinated by the road works that were taking place down the road from the centre. They watch from the fence as the workers dig up and resurface the road.

a. What anti-bias resources could be added to this experience to promote participation of all children, and to develop children’s awareness of differences?
Ans: Add books and toys in the road construction block play area for children and ask what they saw outside the fences where construction workers are working. Ask them if they can pretend to perform that task of construction in the mean while let them know that their appearance may look different from most of the children’s parents working outfit but what matters is the work, workers are also working hard and helping in making roads surface safer for common people to use.

My assessor told me to redo this answer and list anti bias resources. Have no idea what to write, please help Lorina

Ok so road works are usually stereotyped as being a male job however you need to list resources on road works that include both male and female workers...
