Identify two skills you would be teaching Elena during toilet learning that will assist her self-knowledge and awareness.

it is important that the concern for hygiene and the children’s developing control of their bodily functions and with a sensitive approach to ensure each child’s comfort and competence.
Staff will always be of maintaining the privacy of the child when toileting and dressing.

Hi,
You may teach her:
- Sitting on potty whenever its time to change nappy for her. When I train a child, when its time to change nappy for her (wee/ boo), I always put her on potty so that she can get used to it.
- Teach her about personal hygiene such as proper hand wash.
- Teach her simple words: wee/ boo so when she wants to do "wee" she will be able to say it. Ask her regularly so she can remember the words
- Read books with funny illustration about potty for her to get her knowledge improved.
