Scenario: Educators Gossiping In The Sandpit

Scenario...
Two educators are laughing loudly in the sandpit where they are supervising a group of children. You realise that they are talking about the family situation of one of the children at the service. The parents of the child have separated and the rumour is that the mother is beginning a lesbian relationship. One of the educator’s states that she has told the father to make sure he gets legal custody quickly so that the child is not corrupted!

• Identify which service policies and procedures you would refer to in this situation.

I wrote for this one ....Grievance policy but it wasn't correct

No grievance policy has to do with sorting out a problem or an issue between educators or parents.

I think this is more along the lines of privacy and confidentiality and code of ethics...

Oh yes Lorina there is policies procedures - Staffing include: a code of conduct for staff members. Isn't it Lorina
