This is the question:
A child has bought a small toy car to childcare. Your service policy is for home toys to stay in the child’s bag,
but the child cries and holds the car tightly when you explain this to him. What dos the policy say

My answer but I don't think it is right, Can someone help:
maybe the staff member could put the toy on the cupboard and the child can still see it and it would be safe
until his mum comes to pick him up and then he can take it home with him. What else can I say and what is in the policy
The policy shows us a way that we could try distraction so we could remove the car.

Toys shouldn't be brought to the centre because they can broken or lost and the centre shouldn't be held accountable.
Another child may take the toy home.
Child can give the toy to the teacher and get it back at the end of the day.

You just stay firm and say that you will keep the toy safe until mum/dad picks them up in the afternoon because you don't want it to get lost or broken. Maybe you could help the child find another toy in the centre that they can play with...

Hope this helps,
