Scenario: Athen - Transitioning To The Preschool Room

Athen(2 years 11 months) has been attending the center for two years and is currently in the toddler room. A position has opened up in the 3year old room and Athen's educators and parents agree that athen would benefit from transitioning to the 3year old room. The Educator and parents collaborate on a transition program that they hope will ensure a smooth transition.
Each morning Athen's father tells him that now that he is a big boy he will be spending time in the 3year old room with josh(educator). The educator and the parents make this an exciting prospect for Athen.
Over a tow week period just before morning tea Athen is taken to the 3year old room,has his morning tea with the older children and than joins them for a story, music and indoor play. He than returns to the toddler room for his lunch and afternoon sleep.
It is planned that this process will continue until the educator, parents and Athen feel he is ready for a permanent change. To everyone's delight after 2 weeks Athen announces that he is "A big boy" and wants to "Stay with the big kids!"
Que 1) what factors contributed to a smooth transition for Athen?
Ans: Parents and educator has communicate properly and they decide to take step by step to transition , they prepare athen 1st by mentally and they take time to transition him after two week they gave him time to know toddler room and other childs.
Que 2) explain what routines were used to ensure a smooth transition for Athen?
ans: evey day his father telling him he is big boy and going to be in 3years old room with josh (educators). every day after morning tea educators taking him to 3year old room. he join then for story music in indoor play.
Que 3) explain how the transition strategies of this case study reflect the principles and practices of the EYLF?
