Hey i need help with these questions on reporting risk of harm
1. What needs to be taken into account when making a decision to report concerns of abuse or ill treatment?

2. How should you respond if a child discloses abuse or ill treatment?

3. What information should be recorded where abuse or ill treatment is expected?

4. When reporting suspected abuse or ill treatment what information should be provided to the authorities?

I really need Help on this one. Thank-you loads Guys :)

you would be providing info to your centre director (ie if you are talking about this in a childcare setting)
i would assume written evidence of days, dates and what you saw heard that made you think abuse or ill treatment
we used to have a form in our centre if a child came with any injuries from home that were more than just a scrape or little bruise
... just to cover us in case the parent came and said how did he get this bump on his head?...errr he came to childcare with it... hmmm prove that...! we would fill it and get it witnessed by someone so we had documented proof of the child coming in with whatever it was
something like this can be good ... if u r repeatedly having to fill one out for one child for bumps & bruises that seem more unexplained it can be good evidence for why u suspect some ill treatment
also snapping pics of the injuries
I am not sure this is the procedure legally but i know any suspitions should be taken to the Director
