privacy during toileting, dressing and undressing times

hi i'm have a bit of trouble with a question
Outline two (2) ways you can respect a child’s need for privacy during toileting, dressing and undressing times.
this is what i have.
While respecting privacy educators still need to be able to monitor the children this can be done by observing them through a viewing window and small partitions in the bathroom.
can someone please help me.

I had a similar question to my assignment i just put standing near the bathroom door but looking the other way at least your still in reach if any thing happens or if the child needs help getting dressed/undressed

no comments about the child's body
do not stare at the child while they undressing
don't constantly say "hurry up"

When I worked in childcare, one thing we always did was give kids as much independence as possible during those times. Simple stuff like knocking on the door before entering and speaking quietly helps a lot. If kids are shy, giving them privacy screens or even turning our backs while staying close for safety worked well.

Giving children independence during toileting and dressing really helps build their confidence and sense of agency. Knocking before entering, speaking softly, and using privacy screens are simple but powerful ways to show respect.
Even little gestures like turning your back while staying nearby for safety can make shy kids feel more comfortable.
It’s all about balancing dignity with supervision and those small practices go a long way in helping children feel secure and respected in their environment.
