educators have a duty of care to keep the service environment well organized an safe.Housekeeping is an importent part of WHS.it means keeping the work area clean and tidy without obstructions to walk ways or exits.this is an on going process that involves individual childhood educators taking responsibility as well as cooperationbetween staff.Policies and procedures are in place within a service for a reason.understanding these will assist in safety aspects of the service.

7-how can you monitor your own work
Honesty is required when monitoring your own work performances, educator will need to be able to look closely at all work practices and the way in which they complete the tasks expected of them and the way they are recorded in the job (or position)description.

8-why must you communicate with your supervisor if you are unable to complete the task
communication with your supervisor is encouraging support. when an educator is informing their supervisor of the in ability to meet a specific work requirement, they may be identifying an area that can receive support from other staff members.
the supervisour may also tke this opportunity to encourage or organise professional development training.it may be a time to look at the specific jon role and its work requirements.some organisations may look into time management practices and have training in house to prevent poor time managment

Educator requre spport within their role in children's services.with change to regulations that needs of children,requests from parents and daily tasks to be performed,requesting support is encouraged.the need for assistanceis normalit does not mean a person is not performing well.it may just be a temporary support whilst tasks are organised better,or more efficiently.
