Menu Plan For Lacto - Ovo Vegetarian and Lactose Intolerent

Answer:I think this menu is appropriate for 2-5 years of age
Following the Australian guidelines for children and adolescents recommendations,-revise menu to ensure ut meets:
- atleast 50% of the daily nutritional requirements for children in an education & care service
- requirements for children's nutrition according to the Australian Dietary Guidelines for children and adolescents which is available at http://www.nhmrc.gov.au
Dietary requirements for a child who attends on tuesday who is LACTO- OVO Vegetarian
- dietary requirementsfor a child who attends on thursday who is LACTOSE INTOLERANT.
-includes atleast two meals that are traditionally from other cultures.
includes seasonally fresh produce
Provide your answers by rewriting the menu provided.You may keep other meals that you think are appropriate.For any meals that you substitute,give a brief reason explaining why you are making the changes.
Pls pls help me with this because Im not that familiar to australian foods.I attached the copy of the original menu and the changes I made are written in red. Pls help me.
For monday- instead of chocolate milk I replace it with water, flavored milk has more sugar so the best is water.
- instead of fairy bread I replaced it with Egg and Bean Bread Cups because in egg and bean bread cups children will get 3/4 serve of meat/ alternatived ( egg and baked beans) & children gets 1 serve of grains ( bread)
Tuesday--- I replaced chicken nuggets & chips because chips is considered a sometime food.In vegetarian Chilli Con Carne children will get a source of iron and its a good source of vitamin C, 1 childrens serve of grains (rice) , 1 children serve of meat/ alternative ( kidney beans&chickpead), 1/2 childrens serve milk /alternative (cheese)
-Ive replaced chicken nuggets because there is a child who attends on Tuesday who is LACTO-OVO VEGETarian
- I replaced Raspberry Cordial with water for cordial should not be given to children because it has too much sugar.
Wednesday----I replacedcrackers with cheese,fritz & sultanas milo & milk with Sweet Potato and Salmon Dip because it's more nutitious substitute containing high quality protein and heart healthy omega 3 while potato is a great source of Vit A,VitC and a good source of potassium.
Thursday----replaced Straberry milk with water for water is still the best for children to drink
---I replaced Quiche with Spinach,cheese,pumpkin & bacon & mashed potato with Pork Mince San Choy Bau for there is a child who attends on Thursday who is lactose intolerant. Each serve provides children a serve of meat (pork) serve of vegetable (carrot,capsicum,peas) and childrens serve of grain (rice noodles)
-----I replace wholemeal scones with Wholemeal raisin bread for wholemeal bread has low sugar and sodium content.
Friday---I replace crumpets with melted cheese or peanut butter for there may be children who has allergy to nuts. In Fruity crumble children will get serve of fruit which is equal to half serve in Australian Dietary Guidelines.1 children serve of ( grain) cereal foods in equal to 1 serve in the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
---I replace Sausages with sauce &chips with Chicken and Vegetable Stir fry because its more nutritious and gives children serve of lean meat,poultry,fish or alternative is equal to half a serve in the Australisn Dietary Guidelines, one serve of vegetable & childrens serve of (grain) cereal foods is equal to one serve in Australian Dietary Guidelines.
---I replace mini pizzas with ham,cheese with Cheese and Vegemite snails because it has high calcium content and replace pineapple cordial with water,for sugary drinks should not be given to children
