just wondering if you would be able to assist me in this assignment question
7)7) According to the NQS (2.3.1) Children are adequately supervised at all times. What would happen if a Family Day care educator was repeatedly leaving the children unattended to work on the computer? CHCLEG001 Topic 1 Identify and respond to legal requirements-types of obligations and requirements
So far i have stated that..
The incident would have to be reported to the supervisor or director by another care who has witnessed this.
165 Offence to inadequately supervise children
(1) The approved provider of an education and care
service must ensure that all children being
educated and cared for by the service are
adequately supervised at all times that the children
are in the care of that service.
Penalty: $10 000, in the case of an individual.
$50 000, in any other case.
(2) The nominated supervisor of an education and
care service must ensure that all children being
educated and cared for by the service are
adequately supervised at all times that the children
are in the care of that service.
Penalty: $10 000.
(3) A family day care educator must ensure that any
child being educated and cared for by the educator
as a part of a family day care service is adequately
supervised.
Penalty: $10 000.
