Hi there,

for a task in my assignment i have to do 2 entries of jottings for 2 different sequences (which i have done) and then i have to do another 2 for another 2 different sequences but it says 'series of jottings'. I'm just wondering whether there is a difference in jottings and series of jottings as I've gone through all my resources and can't find anything about 'series of jottings'.

this is the task so you can see what i mean:
Observation 3 – Jotting – Use Sequence 3 –
Use Sequence 4 –

Observation 4 – Series of Jottings - Use Sequence 5 –
- Use Sequence 6 –
is there a difference between them?

thanks!!

Series of Jottings same the sound as your usual jottings that you would typically complete. The only difference I think, would be that you would probably do these types of jottings over the course of a specific period such as a day or during a particular activity/experience where the child was engaged for a longer period of time so you can collect a "series" of jottings.

Hope this makes sense,
