Hello,

I am in desperate need for help.
I handed my interview part of my assignment in and they came back incomplete.

I have gone back to the client care centre and got more information and tried to add what they need in there.
I have attached the assignment I will resubmit, are you able to check that there is enough information on there?
Below is what the Assessor said about my last report:

The question states the following :

3 how the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standard guide an early childhood education and care service’s practice in relation to emergency procedures. I think the reason why you got incompetent is because you had information missing... The rest of your responses are good! Here are my ideas:

2. your understanding of an educator’s duty of care responsibilities in an emergency

For this question you are referring to the managers response of their duty of care but I think this is a general question based on all educators so you can include something like:

An educator’s duty of care includes the responsibility to plan for emergencies and to respond to any emergency in an appropriate manner.

3 how the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Quality Standard guide an early childhood education and care service’s practice in relation to emergency procedures.

From the link above, I found the following (you may need to add more info for your response for this question:

The emergency and evacuation floor plan, and instructions should be displayed in a prominent position near each exit at the service premises, including a family day care residence or approved venue (Guide to the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, p.67).

The National Quality Standard, Element 2.3.3 (Guide to the National Quality Standard, p. 78-79) encourages education and care services to effectively manage incidents and emergencies and to plan for these in consultation with relevant authorities. These plans should be practiced frequently and reviewed regularly

Having a clear plan for the management of emergency situations assists educators to handle these calmly and effectively, reducing the risk of further harm or damage (Guide to the National Quality Standard, p.78)

The National Regulations specifies the emergency and evacuation procedures are rehearsed every 3 months that the service is operating, by the nominated supervisor, staff members and volunteers and children being educated and cared for by the service; and the rehearsals of the emergency and evacuation procedures are documented (Education and Care Services National Regulations, p.95).
