Your Question?
Hi Everyone,

Just after some ideas as to where I would find some information.

The assessment question is
Student is to provide information to the mentor that can be given to parents regarding implications of poor diet.
Marker guide- Student needs to provide a resource that is given to parents regarding implications of poor diet including tooth decay, deficiencies, poor concentration and out of character behavior.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have searched the internet for hours now and found a factsheet on tooth decay. I have also found a Tips for Healthy Kids sheet but that really just gives tips on how to get kids to eat healthy. What I am having trouble with is fact sheets on deficiencies, poor concentration and out of character behavior. All the information seems geared towards promoting good foods rather than information about what happens if children have a bad diet.
Do you interpret the question as finding a brochure or factsheet that contains all this information in one or separate information sheets?
The brochures at the day care centre were only on tooth decay and I couldn't see anything on nutritional needs for children.
Struggling a bit on this so any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have found the following:

Nutrition

Nutritional Deficiencies In Healthy Children

Thinking Difficulties

Behavioural Issues

I tried to find information related as close as I could to the information that you need. It's pretty hard to find like you mentioned yourself. Most of the jargon written is hard to understand or irrelevant to use as a fact sheet for parents. Another way to go about it is just to pick and choose information from various sources based on the topics and add that into a one page fact sheet (copy and paste information into word document). Then you can reference the sources at the end...

Hope this helps,

Thank you so much. I googled so much yesterday that I think I went slightly cross eyed. You're correct in saying that it's not easy to find so I am impressed with your links. You obviously google far better than I. :)
Thanks again for your help. Hugely appreciate it!!
