I will explain more on my assignment just want to know if I'm on the right track and if I can add anything else

Why is it important to understand your work role and responsibilities?
So that the children are safe

What could you do if you were unsure/unclear about a particular service policy
Talk to the director of the service and asks if she can explain it a little bit better

You will need to add more information to your response. Not only to keep children safe but to understand what your duties are, what is expected of you, what your tasks are, what your responsibilities are. You need to know all of this in order to provide sufficient care and learning to the children in your care.

Also, with policies there is usually a policy and procedure manual located in the foyer/staff room which you can also refer to.

Hope this helps,
