What can you do to aid the social development of babies/infants?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have a few dot points I have made which are ...
* group mat session
* singing/dancing and talking to the child
* encourage them to communicate with other children and staff members
* play with them one on one or as a group

I believe this may be part of my answer but do not know how to word it into a paragraph.

by been their for them making eye contact and helping them smile and laugh,by providing a relaxed time and
turns taking imitating each other, social development is only learned by doing.
