sometimes you need to use your skills to initiate the play experiences and invite the child to join in.this may happen:
• if a child is having difficulty settling in to the service environment
• is a child has difficulty entering into play with other children or groups
• if a child has had limited experience in making choices and needs to be encouraged to choose an activity
• or have planned something for them that you think this individual child will enjoy
plan your experiences careful based on your knowledge of the individual children, you may find that your invitation for the child to participate is accepted eagerly.you need, however,to be sensitive to what the child is doing when you issue your invitation.
