The importance of encouraging children to explore the environment and resources: Catering for all children’s interests and capabilities in the centre and providing an environment of opportunity, encouraging children to explore will enhance physical activity, brain development, social skills, gross/fine motor, coordination. Children will gain confidence in themselves and find enjoyment through being active.
