Doc 6: Digital and supporting written evidence demonstrating how the student has supported sustainable practices within at least one education and care service, by using a variety of strategies to involve colleagues, children, families and the broader community in participating in and evaluating a program to enhance environmental sustainability.
ANS- Talk to families and ask about ideas . Increase children's awareness of the impact of human activity. Group time discuss with children about environment ,if we are not looking after our natural environment reducing carbon dioxcide. Exploring nature's ways of recycling e.g having compost bin.we involving them in the recycling of food scraps after meal/snack times. Gardening activities are ideal opportunities for children to learn how to care and learn from land .we share information with families and ask their ideas. They involved in gardning ,cooking experiences ,construct puzzles about life cycles /the weather/animals life.

Digital and supporting written evidence demonstrating how the student has supported sustainable practices within at least one education and care service, by designing, implementing and reviewing a program to enhance environmental sustainability in the child care workplace
ANS- Children’s involvement in the progress of the sustainability management plan is an essential part of the process. Use waste, natural, or recycled materials for improvised play experience. Evaluate the program outcomes on a regular basis. We collect plastic, paper, metal for recycling. We put into a reusable shopping bags and take them to the Coles store at Westfield mall . We can recycle-plastic paper, biscuit packs, frozen food bags, biscuit packs, rice. and pasta bags. We scrunched soft plastic bags into a ball .Soft plastic cannot go in the blue recycling bin, because it can jam the recycling machines .Some children understand but some not ,so we are teaching them why we do recycling.

Is it right answer.
Thank you very much.

Yes, you can say a veggie garden and how to do you use it? Do the children help pick the vegetables? Do you prepare the vegetables in meals once they are ready? Etc.
